This is an original artist portrait doll created by Dewees Cochran in the 1940's. It is the Cindy doll. Cindy is in very good condition. All joints work properly. Arms and legs could use a little bit of cleaning but they aren't bad. The Dewees Cochran mark is on the back of the neck and the DC mark is on the back torso. The clothing is in very nice shape. However, the waist area of the dress has some rust spots that resulted from exposure to an unprotected wire doll stand. The original owner of the doll sewed her name and mailing address onto the doll's slip. Clothing items include jumper, blouse, full slip, and panties. Shoes and socks are in very nice condition.
